After trying several loyalty solutions over two years, Agradi chose to implement their new loyalty program with Love Loyalty. CHALLENGE

Agradi is a Netherlands-based equestrian brand that has been serving horse and pet owners for over 25 years. Their product catalog includes over 75,000 items and they currently operate localized online stores in 7 countries.

Having moved to Shopify two years ago together with Code (part of Domaine), Agradi built a unified Shopify ecosystem where a loyalty program could easily integrate into their existing storefronts. With this foundation in place, they began exploring loyalty solutions to support their strong base of returning customers.

We sat down for a chat with Agradi’s Data Manager and Website Lead, Andries Wesselingh to ask about their journey:

“We tried two different loyalty apps before learning about Love Loyalty. We simply wanted to offer free products for points, but both of the loyalty solutions we tried fell short of our expectations. The first solution we tried was super static, it took too many steps for customers to redeem their points for rewards which had a negative impact on conversion. So we switched to another app, where the redemption was seamless but there we had problems with connecting the products and it took a lot of our time to create custom solutions and solve the problems this app had. And it was very expensive. So we decided to look for another solution, and that’s when we found Love Loyalty.”

SOLUTION

Andries and the Agradi team wanted a seamless customer experience focused loyalty program where they are able to reward their loyal customers with points that they can redeem for free, branded products and gifts. 

Key features they included:

  • Points earned at a rate of 5 points per €1 spent
  • Additional actions like profile completion or birthday submission
  • A four-tier VIP structure (Bronze to Platinum), each with increasing benefits like free items, early access, and exclusive offers

To improve visibility and participation, Agradi added:

  • Product page placement showing points earned for each product purchase
  • In-cart 1-click redemption for free products
  • Account page placement showing point balance

RESULTS

After only a few weeks of introducing their loyalty program with Love Loyalty, Agradi experienced a higher redemption rate thanks to the loyalty placements and a significant portion of driven sales by the app:

  • $900k loyalty revenue in under 2 months
